Project Description

Metro is partnering with community and regional stakeholders along the corridor to develop an investment plan for transportation projects and programs that provide safe, high-quality multimodal options for moving people and goods. These improvements will foster clean air, healthy and sustainable communities, and economic empowerment for all residents, communities, and users along the corridor.

With equity and sustainability at the forefront, Metro established the LB-ELA Corridor Task Force to collaborate with community members and ensure that mobility options are effectively integrated into the investment plan.

This investment plan consists of several multimodal transportation projects and concepts. LA Metro selected AECOM to develop a web-based, public-facing application to visualize these projects. The purpose of this application is to help stakeholders better understand the projects, review evaluation results, and provide community input.

Tom served as the technical lead in delivering the web-based, public-facing application that visualizes multimodal transportation projects around the I-710 corridor near LA. The application is designed to be user-friendly, informative, and accessible to a broad audience.
